Washington-If there is any doubt about what issues the Senate Environment Committee will be devoting time to under its new chairperson, Senator Barbara Boxer, Democrat-California, consider that Boxer announced November 16 the committee will have two subcommittees dealing with global warming. The Subcommittee on Public Solutions to Global Warming, Oversight, Children's Health Protection and Nuclear Safety, will be chaired by Boxer.
