摘要

Singapore-Thailand is considering taxing liquefied petroleum gas exports in a bid to retain more of the product for the domestic market where demand is growing, sources said November 23. The energy ministry's policy management committee has approved a plan to ask exporters to contribute half of their profits from LPG exports to the government, said Metta Banturngsuk, Director General of the Energy Policy and Planning Office. "The ministry has submitted the plan to Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont and it is expected to be implemented by the end of November," Metta said.
