Georgia halts plans to sell gas pipeline to Gazprom

Georgia has put on hold its plans to sell the country's main gas pipeline distribution system to Russia's Gazprom in the face of strong opposition from parliament,a Georgian parliamentarian told Platts last week."The plans have been stopped for the moment,but it doesn't mean we can relax," MP Giorgi Vashakmadze said.
