Hong Kong-In a move seen by some industry observers as an attempt to secure sufficient gasoline supply for the Chinese domestic market,Beijing has temporarily removed tax rebates on the export of gasoline and naphtha starting Sep 1.The removal will remain in effect until Dec 31,an official at the Ministry of Finance told P/atts Aug 30,and will apply to automobile gasoline,aviation gasoline and naphtha.Mainland refiners and trading companies receive a 11% tax rebate from the ministry on their gasoline exports,he said.The MoF official did not have details on the tax rebate given on naphtha exports,but oil trading sources said it was 13%.
