ONGC set to bring on India's first deep output

Indian upstream giant oil and Natural Gas Corp s on trac to bringon stream natural gas from its G1 and GS15 fields in the Krishna Godavari basin off the country's eastern coast in April 2006,marking the first deepwater production in India.Gas from the two fields will be brought ashore at Rajahmundri near the major port of Vizag in Andhra Pradesh state at initial estimated rates of 2-mil cu m/d.
