London-Canadian independent First Calgary Petroleums said Nov 11 it will require "significant" funding after 2006 to fully develop its huge Algerian natural gas fields.In a statement accompanying its third-quarter earnings,FCP said it holds sufficient working capital to fund its planned 2006 appraisal drilling program on the gas finds in the Berkine Basin.
