The Nova Scotia offshore shows signs of emerging from a slump with exploration plans shaping up for two under-explored basins and a decision likely this year on the stalled Deep Panuke natural gas project.Bass Enterprises Production,a unit of the Bass family's Texas industrial conglomerate,has a conditional green light to revive oil exploration in the region,while ConocoPhillips hopes to drill a wildcat in the Laurentian sub-basin in 2007 and EnCana expects to make a decision on the status of Deep Panuke.
