Distillates: Los Angeles jet feeling the flu

The Los Angeles jet fuel cash market weakened Tuesday on expectations of reduced air traffic from major West Coast airports to Mexico City because of concerns over swine flu in Mexico, industry sources said. The May-delivery Los Angeles jet fuel cash differentials slid 1.5 cents/gal from Platts Monday assessment, trading down to the June NYMEX heating oil contract plus 1.5 cents/gal.
