Saudi crude to US topped 1 million b/d in April: EIA Agency revises April demand figure upward

London-US crude imports from OPEC kingpin Saudi Arabia recovered to 1.021 million b/d in April after falling to 944,000 b/d-the lowest monthly volume since October 1993-in March, the US Energy Information Administration said June 29. Saudi Arabia boosted crude production last year as oil prices climbed towards July's record highs of more than $147/barrel but scaled output back as part of OPEC's efforts to remove oversupply in the face of plunging demand and prices.
