Northwest European CIF diesei cargo premiums continued to rise Wednesday, with refinery turnarounds said to be supporting NWE cargoes, leaving Mediterranean cargo premiums in the the wake. NWE lOppm CIF cargoes firmed to a 20-week high Wednesday, according to Platts data. Premiums over the front-month ICE gasoil contract rose 75 cents to $24.25/mt over, while Med cargo premiums were $5.25/mt lower. Compared one week ago, the differential was 25 cents, according to Platts data. "Demand into NWE is much higher at the moment...there is not much demand in the Med, there is not much interest into Spain, the Adriatic or Italy," a trader said.
