The only tightness, if it can be called that, in the ethanol spot market is for very prompt lifting; further out, it all looks weak. Prompt June in New York might be worth $1.82/gal, but July was seen as no higher than $1.80/gal, maybe even lower. August rated 4.5 cents/gal below July, a curve that is starting to resemble a cliff.
