Anchorage-Alaska legislators are weighing regulating gasoline prices or taking other action to ease consumer costs,including state investment in a refinery,if refiners serving Alaska do not lower gasoline prices,officials said October 24."We're under tremendous pressure from our constituents to do something,"state Representative Jay Ramras,Republican-Fairbanks,said in an interview.Gasoline prices have been dropping fast across the US as crude oil prices fall,but they remain high in Alaska.
