Moscow—Russia's crude oil output continued its downward trend in July, sparking renewed fears the country's production could register its first year-on-year fall since 1998. Crude output stood at 41.361 million mt (9.74 million b/d) in July, down 1.1% from the same period a year ago, according to preliminary figures from the energy ministry released August 4.
