The UK government said April 24 it did not expect a major disruption to fuel and gas supplies as a result of a looming strike at the Grangemouth refinery,even though BP is preparing to shut down the key Forties Pipeline System.The strike is expected to shut the 200,000 b/d Ineos operated refinery in Scotland for two days starting from April 27,resulting in an immediate drop in the production of gasoline,diesel and other fuels.
