South Korea's October crude imports dip 1.4%

Seoul-South Korea's crude imports fell 1.4% year on year in October to 70.4 million barrels,but its bill rose 26.3% to 6.91 billion,despite the recent retreat in global prices,the energy ministry said November 3.South Korea's average crude import price for October was 98.10/barrel,up 28.1% from the same month last year,the Ministry of Knowledge Economy,formerly the Ministry of Commerce,Energy and Industry,said in a statement.The crude import volume in October was 1.9% higher than in September,but the cost of the imports fell by 13.2%,reflecting a 14.8% decline in the average price.
