Caracas-Venezuela's state PDVSA has informed ExxonMobil that it wants Citgo,PDVSA's US downstream unit,to operate the refinery in Chalmette,Louisiana,owned jointly by PDVSA and the US major,a Venezuelan official said May 8.Eulogio del Pino,president of PDVSA's E&P unit CVP,told reporters that PDVSA officials stated their desire to make Citgo the refinery's operator during a recent Chalmette board of directors meeting in the US.
