New York-Drivers in the US pumped 9.993 million b/d of gasoline in the week ended August 3,as gasoline demand rose 3.7% from the same period a year ago,according to a new weekly survey that tracks gasoline consumption at 167,000 retail stations in the US.The inaugural report released August 7 by MasterCard Advisors said retail prices for regular gasoline fell 0.07 to 2.86/gaI for the week,the lowest national average price since mid-April.
