Russian production rises 2.3% in July

Moscow-Russia's crude output rose 2.3% to 41.83 million mt(9.85 million b/d)in July from 40.87 million mt in the same month last year,according to preliminary data released August 2 by the country's Central Dispatching Unit.July output was up 3.7% on June 2007.Crude output totaled 285.04 million mt in the first seven months of the year,up 3% from the same period a year ago,said the CDU,which is part of Russia's Industry and Energy Ministry.
