In the US Gulf,heavy sours rose further,even as the sweet market slid sharply.April-delivery Mars jumped from a 7.50 discount to the settlement of a 7.25 discount.During the assessment window,this grade was talked at 7.44/6.87 discount to cash WTI.On Monday,it was assessed at a 7.57 discount.April Poseidon rose especially sharply,attempting to restore the quality-based premium it once held over Mars before the hurricane season devastated sections of the USG last year.This grade traded at 6.65-6.50 discount to NYMEX crude,from Monday's 8.00-7.80 discount.April-delivery WTS traded at 3.40-3.20 discount to cash WTI,from Monday's 4.35-3.80 discount.
