Distillate draw rails to inspire bulls in NYMEX futures

US distillate inventories fell a less-than-expected 2.9-mil bbl to 118.6-mil bbl for the week ending Jan 28,as refining yields inched up and stocks continued to draw at the distributor level,according to an analysis of data released Feb 2 by the Department of Energy.The draw was not deep enough to inspire a round of buying,with March heating oil settling 1.69 cts lower at US1.2970/gal.
