Led by refinery buying,prompt gasoline cash differentials in Los Angeles Wednesday rallied by 5.5 cts/gal to 35.5 cts/gal over the May NYMEX gasoline contract from the previous day's high of 30 cts/gal over the NYMEX,market sources said.Ongoing refinery maintenance problems and Wednesday's deadline for getting May barrels into the Kinder Morgan pipeline system were credited for the bullish push.However,in a continuation of the previous day's action,a sliding NYMEX basis kept outright gasoline in check,the NYMEX contract Wednesday closed down over 5 cts/gal at US1.482/gal.
