The price of alkylate in Europe has increased sharply in recent days,from 538/mt to 611.50/mt,as its availability dwindles and offers are hard to come by,traders said Wednesday."I had been in the market recently and alkylate was pricing at a factor of 1.1(times the value of the front-month gasoline swap).Now people are talking about a factor above 1.25 and you are lucky if you can find someone looking to sell," one trader said.
