West African sweet crude grades hit record prices of over us56/bbl Friday,beating previous highs over us55/bbl set earlier in the week,according to Platts data Friday,as Dated Brent continued to rally.Traders cited further record highs in underlying Dated Brent for the fresh records in West African crude,but healthy premiums for the light,sweet Nigerian grades were also lending support.Nigeria's benchmark Bonny Light and Qua Iboe (BQ) grades were assessed at over us56/bbl,more than us20/bbl higher from a year ago.
