Strike continues to take toll on Total refineries in France

The strike at Total's French refineries appeared set to continue for at least another two days despite talks betwene the two sides which continued late into the night May 20.Just ahead of the management-union talks,which opened in Paris at 5 p.m.local time,the leading CGT union said refinery strikers had decided to extend their action at least until midday May 23.
