Shell has concluded two fixed-price Mars crude deals in the US Gulf Coast market this week. A 2,000 b/d September deivery deal done Tuesday at US29.23/bbl was followed Wednesday by a 1,000 b/d trade at US29.06/bbl. Currently, Mars crude trades in the spot market mainly as a differential to light, sweet benchmark West Texas Intermediate crude.
