North America's Q1 2010 has had a flurry of telecom developments, in addition to the regular annual financial results. To begin with, the two US government agencies responsible for administering the federal stimulus act's broadband telecom grants, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) and the Dept. of Agriculture's Rural Utilities Service (RUS), have been announcing the winning grant applications. More than 75 projects have been announced since December.
