摘要

The local compressibilities of Cr~(3+) and Mn~(4+) octahedral clusters in YAlO_3 crystal are investigated by means of the pressure-induced R?-line shifts. The results suggest that the local compressibility changes from cluster to cluster and both compressibilities of 3d~3 impurity clusters are smaller than that of the corresponding Al~(3+) octahedral cluster in the host YAlO_3 crystal. The causes of above results are discussed.
