摘要

It is proposed that the broad background of the optical self-energy spectra in high-T-c cuprates is derived from quantized massive gauge fields around doped holes, which have been already introduced theoretically in the path-integral method by the author. It is shown that the increase of the broad background, as the temperature decreases, is much related to evolution of destruction of Fermi surface due to the spontaneous symmetry breaking with decrease in the temperature. We suggest strongly that quantized massive gauge fields are mediating Cooper pairing in high-Tc cuprates. (c) 2006 Published by Elsevier B.V.
