Import duties on Chinese solar panels to be imposed by the EU

The European Commission has announced it will impose temporary anti-dumping levies on imports of Chinese solar panels. It comes despite opposition from Germany and other EU members that it could spark a trade war. The European Union will phase in these import duties, giving Brussels and Beijing two months to find a solution before its full force is felt.
