Foil shipments improving on last year

Foil shipments continued to improve over last year, building on good summer orders. The first half of this year was decidedly weak, with shipments down 6-7%. Shipments in the August - October period showed a slight turnaround, increasing from 267 to 268m lbs. This increase is admittedly small, but it was enough to reduce the decline in y-t-d shipments to 5%.
