PMI indicators point towards positive global demand growth

Demand activity has been relatively quiet at the beginning of the year in China and most semis fabrication plants had partially closed by the end of January in preparation for the Spring Festival (10th February to 24th February). There are also no signs of restocking in Europe and the USA yet as consumers are still operating on a hand to mouth basis.
