CF Starts Donaldsonville UAN Production

Deerfield-CF Industries has started up the new 4,500-t/d urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) plant at its Donaldsonville, La., nitrogen complex (PCN, 22 Feb 2016, p 4). The unit is part of a project that will result in the largest nitrogen facility in the world and includes a 3,300-t/d ammonia plant, scheduled for start-up later this year and a 3,500-t/d urea plant, which came on stream late last year.
