Fluor Forming Joint Venture in Spain; New Entity to be Named SacyrFIuor

Madrid—Fluor Corp. has signed an agreement to divest 50% of the shares in it Spanish operations, Fluor SA, to Spanish construction firm Sacyr Industrial for ?39-million. The new company, SacyrFIuor, will be headquartered in Fluor's Madrid operations center, and will provide project management, engineering, procurement, construction management and self-perform construction services for the chemicals and energy industry in Spain, southern Europe, North Africa and certain countries in South America.
