Nexeo Solutions Signs Merger Accord To Become Part of WL Ross Holding

The Woodlands-Chemical and plastics distribution company Nexeo Solutions has entered into a merger agreement with special purpose acquisition firm WL Ross Holding Corp., in which Nexeo will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of WL Ross. Immediately following the merger, valued at $1,575-billion, WL Ross, majority owned by TPG Capital, plans to change its name to Nexeo Solutions.
