Pertamina & Pupuk Indonesia Sign MOU To Develop Coal, Gas-Based PC Plant

Jakarta—Pertamina and Pupuk Indonesia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to study the development of a coal-and gas-based petrochemical facility in Indonesia. The scope of cooperation between the two companies includes preparation of a feasibility study for the project, as well as engineering, procurement and construction and operations and maintenance development, which can be done through the optimization of assets and/or acquisition of a portfolio of shares between the two sides. No other details of the project were given.
