DSM & CVC Capital Partners Joining Forces In Polymer Intermediates/Composite Resins

Heerlen-DSM and CVC Capital Partners have finalized a partnership for DSM's polymer intermediates and composite resins activities through the formation of a new company (PCN, 23 Mar 2015, p 2). The new company, Chemicalnvest, is owned 65% by CVC and 35% by DSM, and will operate under CVC's leadership. DSM: contributed its global caprolactam business in Europe and North America, its 60% stake in DNCC in China and the caprolactam licensing business, its acryloni-trile business and composite resins business, its 65% stake in Sitech Services and a 75% stake in JDR.
