Axiall, Lotte JV Awards CB&I Contract For Louisiana Ethane Cracker Project

Lake Charles— LACC LLC, a joint venture of Axiall Corp. and Lotte Chemical Corp., has awarded CB&I an early works contract for a proposed ethane cracker in Lake Charles, La. (PCN, 22 June 2015, p 1). Under the contract, CB&I will provide additional detailed engineering and early procurement services associated with the cracker. CB&I previously supplied its proprietary ethylene technology and front-end engineering design services for the project.
