Takreer's Ruwais Refinery Expansion Commissioned with New PDH Plant

Ruwais—Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Co. (Takreer) has commissioned its Ruwais refinery expansion project, including a propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit (PCN, 8 Nov 2012, p 3). "The new refinery was designed to double Takreer's current capacity to enable the company to refine about 900,000 b/d of crude oil and to maximize the production of propylene," reported Gulf News, quoting Takreer Chief Executive Jasem Al Sayegh.
