Jacobs to Provide Engineering Services For Upgrade of BP's Geel PTA Units

Geel-Jacobs has been awarded a contract from BP to provide basic and detailed engineering services for an upgrade of BP's purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plants in Geel, Belgium (PCN, 24 Nov-1 Dec 2014, p 3). Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs will install new equipment and perform upgrades in the PTA units with the goal of optimizing operational performance at Geel.
