Maersk, MSC and CMA Planning Alliance To Operate East-West Trade Network

Milan—Maersk Line, MSC Mediterranean Shipping Co. and CMA CGM have reached an agreement in principle to establish the P3 Network, a long-term operational alliance on East—West Trade. The P3 Network will initially operate 255 vessels having a combined capacity of 2.6-million TEU (twenty-foot equivalent units) on three trade lanes—Asia and Europe, Trans-Pacific and Trans-Atlantic.
