SIIG and ACP Venture Takes Delivery Of 4 Modules for Jubail Nylon Facility

Jubail-Petrochemical Conversion Co. (PCC), a joint venture of Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG) and Arabian Chevron Phillips Petrochemical Co. (ACP), announced the successful delivery of four process modules for its world-scale nylon plant in Jubail, Saudi Arabia (PCN, 8 Aug 2011, p 2). PCC, which did not earlier disclose capacity, said the project will have the capacity to produce 50,000 t/y of nylon 6,6, 20,000 t/y of nylon compound and 120,000 t/y of converted products. Production is expected to come on stream in late 2013.
