Chain Yarn Completes Nylon Fibers Unit

Taiwan— Chain Yarn Co. has completed a new nylon 6 and nylon 66 fibers project at the Nangang Jhushan Industrial Park in Taiwan's Nantou County. The new plant, requiring an investment of NT$2.5-billion, has the capacity to produce 19,500 t/y of nylon 6 and 10,500 t/y of nylon 66, increasing the company's capacities to 55,500 t/y and 14,500 t/y, respectively.
