Cabot Moving Masterbatch Production From Hong Kong to New Tianiin Plant

Tianiin- Cabot Corp. plans to shut down its Hong Kong masterbatch plant on 31 Mar. 2012 and relocate the production to its new facility in Tianjin, China.Cabot's Tianjin masterbatch plant opened in September 2011 with 45,000 tons of capacity, "which is large enough to supply the current demand of the plastics industry in Asia, as well as its expected near-term future growth," the company noted.
