BASF—Chan Choong Phooi, currently a vice president with BASF (Thai) Ltd., has been appointed president director of PT BASF Indonesia, effective 1 Jan. 2013. He will succeed Henry Choo, who is retiring, Bayer Material Science—James Charron has been named head of application development, North America, for the coatings, adhesives and specialties business unit. He most recently served as head of thermoplastic polyure-thane resins.
