Horsen—-Dow Elastomers plans to begin producing its Affinity GA polyolefin elastomers in Tarragona, Spain, during the first quarter of 2014, marking the company's first European production of these elastomers. With existing Affinity production capabilities in Free-port, Texas, this new capacity in Tarragona will allow Dow to meet customer demand in the hot melt adhesives market from two continents, the company noted.
