Enterprise Expanding Aegis Ethane PL; Launches Supplemental Open Season

Houston—Enterprise Products Partners has decided to expand its Aegis ethane pipeline to 20-inches in diameter, following "strong interest from shippers" during a recent supplemental binding open commitment period to determine shipper demand for additional capacity (PCN, 22 Apr 2013, p 4). During the open commitment period, Enterprise secured long-term agreements which support increasing the pipeline to facilitate delivery of up to 425,000 b/d of ethane. Because of the additional shipper interest, the company has begun conducting another supplemental open season, which will conclude at 5 p.m. CST on 14 Nov. 2013.
