LyondellBasell Grants Sinopec Licenses For Spherizone and Lupotech Projects

Rotterdam— LyondellBasell has licensed its Spherizone polypropylene (PP) and Lupotech polyethylene (PE) technology to China Petrochemical International Co. (Sinopec International) for four new plants. The plants, for which capacities were not given, have been proposed in Zhanjiang, Dachang and Jinshan, China. Production is expected to begin in 2016.
