Sinopec & Mitsui Joint Venture Building Cumene Plant with Badger Technology

Shanshai- Sinopec and Mitsui Chemicals' Shanghai Sinopec Mitsui Chemicals (SSMC) plans to build a new cumene plant in Shanghai, China, that will use Badger Licensing's proprietary technology.Badger said it has received a contract from SSMC that includes technology license, process design and start-up services for a 332,500-t/y cumene project. The new plant is scheduled to come on stream in 2013.
