Tokyo—Asahi Glass Co., Adeka Corp. and Kaneka Corp. have reached agreement to withdraw their capital investment from Kashima Chlorine & Alkali Co. (Kashima Denkai) and from Kashima Vinyl Chloride Monomer Co. (Kashima PVC Monomer), two existing joint ventures with Shin-Etsu Chemical Co. and Mitsubishi Corp.
