Mitsubishi and Faurecia Cooperating On Bioplastics for Vehicle Interiors

Tokyo—Mitsu-bishi Chemical Corp. (MCC) said it has signed an agreement with automotive equipment supplier Faurecia for the joint research and development of a "tailor-made" biomass polybutylene succinate (PBS) suitable for automotive interior parts by 2014.
